Hi There! I found my Journal I wrote in Israel and I wanted to share this with you all. Though Valentine’s was yesterday I think the thoughts work all year long and can be followed (by you or your love) for the rest of your lives. As I read over this list, I am amazed at the insightfulness you all had.Since I only have a handful Israel Facebook friends…I hope you will pass this along to others who helped contribute…the following is directly from my journal:August 11, 1994. I have always wanted to make a list of “little romantic things to do with your girlfriend, lover, significant other or spouse. So this summer I asked 16 women (the women on my trip ages 16-18) what they thought were romantic things…this is the list.”1. Listen to her and ask her advice2. Paint her nails3. Throw her a birthday party4. Shampoo her hair5. Brush her hair6. Full body massage7. Carriage ride8. Grocery shopping with her9. Share your feelings, don’t be afraid to cry in front of her10. Spell out her name in petals11. Buy her a dog12. Maker her mix tapes13. Go on errands together14. Go on walks15. Make dinner together16. Sing to her17. Look at the stars18. Camp under the stars19. Flowers unexpected20. Breakfast in bed21. Write a poem to her22. Watch a sunrise23. Picnic24. Camp25. Take a day trip26. Take her to a concert27. Take her to a play28. Rent a cabin29.
